For years, we’ve spoken about bullying…

And as someone who stands on stages across Australia delivering my Resilient Rockstar Show, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply it impacts children’s confidence, identity and sense of belonging.

But recently… something has been sitting heavily on my heart.

What if the biggest challenge facing this generation isn’t bullying as we once knew it…

What if it’s AI?

I recently came across the heartbreaking story of a mother, Megan Garcia, who bravely spoke out after losing her teenage son Sewell… following his emotional attachment and romantic relationship with an AI chatbot.

Let that sink in for a moment.

This isn’t about blame.
This isn’t about fear.

This is about awareness.

Because our children are growing up in a world where:
✨ Conversations can feel real… but aren’t human
✨ Connection can be artificial… but feel deeply personal
✨ And vulnerability can be met with something that doesn’t have the emotional responsibility of a real person

As a child protection advocate, this shifts the conversation for me.

We’ve spent years teaching children how to navigate bullying in the playground and online…

But now we need to help them navigate something far more complex:

👉 Relationships that aren’t real… but feel like they are
👉 Validation from sources that don’t truly care
👉 A world where technology can mirror emotion… without understanding it

The message of Resilient Rockstar has always been about giving children tools to:
💛 Protect themselves
💛 Express their emotions
💛 Build real, safe and supportive connections

And now… those tools matter more than ever.

Because resilience today isn’t just about standing up to bullies…

It’s about staying grounded in what’s real, what’s safe, and what truly connects us as humans.

My heart is FULL this morning 💛🌈📚

Off to beautiful Tamborine Mountain today to read my children’s books Puppy Rescue and Tiger to some precious little souls at daycare.

There is something so magical about sitting cross-legged on the floor with young children… watching their eyes light up, hearing their giggles, seeing them quietly lean in when the story touches their heart.

Every time I walk into a centre with my rainbow socks on and my books in hand, I’m reminded why I wrote them in the first place.

Puppy Rescue isn’t just about a dog.
Tiger isn’t just about courage.

They’re about children who might feel unsure, unseen or a little bit different — and helping them realise they are braver, kinder and stronger than they know.

To be invited into these spaces… to plant seeds of resilience, empathy and self-belief so early in life… is something I will never take for granted.

Today I was back out beating the streets 💪📚🎤

Visiting primary schools, daycares and kindergartens in my local community — doing what I love most… connecting face-to-face and sharing what’s possible for our kids.

For primary schools, it’s about opening the door to the Resilient Rockstar Show — a live, high-energy, heart-led experience that empowers children with tools for resilience, confidence, self-belief and emotional strength.
Because resilience isn’t something we’re born with — it’s something we can learn, practise and grow.

And for daycares and kindergartens, it’s all about story time 📖💛
Reading my children’s books Puppy Rescue and Tiger to little ones, sparking imagination, empathy and important conversations in a way only stories can.

There’s something so special about showing up in person, having real conversations with educators, and planting seeds that can genuinely make a difference in young lives.

Grateful for the warm welcomes, the open doors, and the shared belief that our children deserve support, encouragement and stories that help them feel seen and strong. 🌈✨

Out beating the streets today 💪📚

Today gave me one of those quiet, full-circle moments.

One of the professors at Bond University is buying a copy of my children’s books… and behind those pages is a story that began a very long way from a university campus.

Puppy Rescue was written about a foster dog.
But really, it’s about a foster child.
About feeling unwanted.
About being moved around.
About learning to trust again.
About discovering that you are worthy of love, safety and belonging.

To see that story now walking into a place of higher learning, held by someone who teaches the next generation… it’s deeply humbling.

Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle.
And today, I felt that in my bones. 🤍📚
