Gloria Ansell's career has taken her all over the globe to play at world renowned destinations from Ibiza to Miami and cities in Australia, Africa, Mexico, Nepal, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and numerous cities all over China. She has held partnership and an ongoing residency from 2013-2019 at one of Southern China’s most influential nightclubs, Pepper Club, which is world renowned for booking legendary producers in the music scene and has rapidly helped to shape the Shenzhen nightlife realm. Gloria Ansell has shared the booth there with respected artists such as Bob Sinclar, Richie Hawtin, My Digital Enemy, James Zabiela, Federico Scavo, Boy George, Plastik Funk, Dirty Vegas, David Tort, Dave Seaman, Alex Kenji, Tenishia, Stefan Dabruck, and Howie B. She has also opened for Top 100 DJ’s WolfPack, at one of their private release parties in Shenzhen. And was the warm up DJ for celebrity pop singer Iyaz when he performed in Beijing. Gloria Ansell recently was chosen to tour for Carlsberg and 1664 Kronenbourg in numerous cities around China, playing in some of the biggest and most powerful clubs for 3 consecutive months. Other name brands she has been sponsored by and associated with include Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, Smirnoff, Heineken, Grey Goose, V-Moda, Miss Globe 2017, and Adidas Superstars. 2019 saw her guest DJ appearance on the Rap of China hit TV Show, on set with the superstars: Kris Wu, MC Hotdog, Deng Zi Qi and Pan Wei Bo. She also appeared as a guest DJ on the hot Chinese Television Show - Hero’s of Remix in 2016, along side the famous south Korean popstar: PSY and Chinese celebrity and actor: Wang Li Hong. She also performed at the Taylor Swift VIP pre-concert party in Shanghai in 2015. She started producing music in 2014, and saw the release of her debut single - Only One in 2015, featuring vocals written and recorded by herself. Her latest track - Tequila released on Ultimativemusic reached the No.2 spot on Germany’s EDM/Dance music charts. Some of her other collaborations and productions have reached into Beatport’s Top 100 lists, being released on some of the hottest labels in house music including Ultimative Music, Housesession Records, Whore House, Ambassade and Bang It! Records with tremendous support from the likes of Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Chris Lake, Deorro, My Digital Enemy, Bob Sinclar, Nervo, Axwell, Erick Morillo, Sander Van Doorn, and Thomas Gold. Since returning to Australia 1 year ago due to Covid, she has quickly immersed herself in the local Brisbane and Gold Coast underground and house scene, getting residencies at SubRosa and Maya Mexican Rooftop.
