Skye is originally from the Eyre Peninsula and finished her schooling in Cummins. She grew up surrounded by farmland and majestic, rugged coastlines, but, unintentionally, have called the Limestone Coast her on and off again home since 2008. In these particular paintings, Skye has combined her love of art, nature and Coonawarra. Her real passion in life and work is the environment, having most recently worked with the beautiful and endangered SE Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Now based in Melbourne, Skye is lucky enough to still be working in conservation as well as continuing her artistic journey within a garage studio!
Skye’s beautiful artworks will be available for sale and for those who can’t make it on the weekend they will remain in Patrick of Coonawarra for a while after the festival.
