Glenbrook Players is and always has been a community minded theatre group, situated in the lower Blue Mountains.

Having staged it's inaugural production in 1975, Glenbrook Players has evolved over the past 50 years to become a multi-skilled ensemble group We acknowledge the Gundungurra and Darug peoples who are the traditional custodians of this land. We also pay our respect to elders both past, present and emerging and celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands and waters of NSW.

VERDICT DIRECTOR REINTRODUCTION

Ron Wadick is delighted to be making her directorial debut with Agatha Christie’s Verdict for Glenbrook Players in 2026. A Blue Mountains local and creative, Ron brings a love of psychological tension, moral complexity, and character-driven storytelling to this production.

Ron most recently played Angélique in & Juliet with Penrith Musical Comedy Company, and her other theatre credits include Assistant Director on Strictly Ballroom for Blue Mountains Musical Society (BMMS), and ensemble/featured ensemble roles in BMMS productions School of Rock, The Sound of Music, Catch Me If You Can, and Sweet Charity in Concert. Ron has also completed short courses at NIDA, including Directing Actors for the Stage, and is thrilled to be working with Glenbrook Players on this gripping Christie drama.

Meet the 2026 Glenbrook Players’ Committee
Anita Nau-Kleinmann – General Member

Anita has been a member of Glenbrook Players since 1991 and has served on the committee for around 15 years. She directed Some Like It Hot and Dinner for One. She has also performed in a number of Glenbrook Players productions, including Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Two Weeks with the Queen, Aftershocks, Stand and Deliver, Oliver Twist, The Birdcage, The Truth, Hay Fever, London Suite and A Cheery Soul.

Since 1993, Anita has also been Glenbrook Players’ house designer and looks after advertising. Many patrons will also know her as the friendly face of Front of House Manager. In 2025, Anita was recognised as a Life Member of the group.

Meet the 2026 Glenbrook Players’ Committee
Jorja Harrison – General Member

Jorja has been a valued part of Glenbrook Players since 2023, contributing to a wide range of roles both on and off the stage. Behind the scenes, she has stage managed Ada and the Engine (2023), worked as a dresser for Sherlock Holmes and the Call of Cthulhu (2024), and been part of stage crew for Holding the Man (2025). She also took on the role of Front of House Assistant Manager for Arsenic and Old Lace (2025).

On stage, Jorja played Antipholus of Ephesus in Comedy of Errors (2023), later reprising the role for the 50th Anniversary Showcase. She also understudied the role of Elaine Harper in Arsenic and Old Lace (2025).

Since 2025, Jorja has also been part of the Glenbrook Players marketing team, creating video content for the last four productions. This year marks Jorja’s first year serving on the Glenbrook Players Committee, and we are so excited to have her energy, talent, and passion helping shape the future of the group.

What a successful run it was, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, cheered us on, and helped make the season such a wonderful experience. Your support means so much to our cast, crew, and the entire Glenbrook Players community.
