A few of our orchestra members are playing in the Beethoven Festival hosted by the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra over the weekend of the 29th to the 31st May.
With free train travel, why not pop on up to Bendigo for a treat?

The Beethoven Festival at the end of May is set to be a very fun and busy weekend indeed! If you're not sure which concert to come to, have a look here to see who's playing on each day and which symphonies they're playing.

Our concert today went amazingly well, with much positive feedback from our audience. The horn section just had to celebrate! Thanks to everyone who came to support us.

Sad news about Simon Harvey from his wife, Moira. Simon had been dealing with Melanoma cancer for some time, but having treatment to hopefully arrest it's progress. Unfortunately it became clear fairly recently that nothing had worked, there were no other options and it had spread relentlessly including to his wonderful brain. He died on Thursday with family in the amazing Peter MacCallum cancer hospital in Melbourne , peaceful and positive to the end. Please feel free to email me if needing to know more...
