/// MEET THE BAND ///
Scott Macansh – drums, Brett Arthur – bass, Mal Hall – guitar, Shanny Core – synthesizer/keys and Kathryn Duddy – keys.

Suffering for the sake of their art (the age-old story of musicians everywhere), you won’t see our band, but they will definitely make their presence known as you find yourself dancing in your seats and singing along to all of your favourite ABBA songs! Banished to side stage, you will find our musos in a structure fondly referred to as the ‘Annex’ complete with fairy lights, multiple LED lights, a disco globe and bucket-loads of personality. But don’t feel sorry for them, this is where the cool kids are at. Picture this…flared pants, metallic shirt, platform shoes, hairspray and swagger – and that’s just our bass player! A unique combination of dedication, talent, quirky humour ( ) and all things groovy, our band has worked hard (but had lots of fun) paying our greatest respects to the magic that is ABBA.

Our Dancers - Tahlia O'Brien, Charlotte Cameron, Jess McGrath and Brooke Burgess

These girls are awesome! As well as being a lot of fun to have around, they have been front and centre at all of the dance rehearsals helping our cast learn the routines choreographed by our amazing choreographer, Lindy Alt. They have shown great patience with those who are...shall we say, a little less coordinated, and their work in helping the cast learn their moves properly is now very evident on stage!

/// MEET THE CAST ///
Tahleia Gerlofsma - TANYA

Local singing talent Tahleia has long been appreciated for her strong yet sensitive vocals, and first appeared on stage as Katie in Calamity Jane in 2012. A young mum, Tahleia has been anticipating a return to the stage, and performing in Mamma Mia has always been her next dream. She has loved the challenge of transforming into Tanya; a rich, sophisticated, unemotional woman with caustic wit, who is as far from her own personality as she could imagine. This musical has been a great opportunity for Tahleia to do something special with her mum Donna.

/// MEET THE CAST ///

Eliza Correy - ALI
Hayley Sommerville - LISA

Eliza was born and bred in Glen Innes and has never left. She loves community theatre, and has been involved in singing in a couple of musicals in the past, as well as conducting the music for one. Eliza loves the people and friends she has made through being part of the large and vibrant cast of Mamma Mia!, as well as singing the best songs.

Hayley is brand new to both Glen Innes and the stage. She has loved belting out her favourite songs with a group of groovy new friends.

Bradley Alley - Sky

Although new to the Arts Council stage, Bradley has enjoyed being involved in Theatre during his time at High School. This is Bradley's first musical role, and he has proved to have a great future on the stage. Brad is looking forward to the opportunity to be involved in future productions now that he has finished school. One of his favourite quotes is "the more you know is the more you know."

/// MEET THE CAST ///
Bree Emery - Sophie

Meet Bree! Bree moved to Glen Innes less than a year ago, and has quickly endeared herself to everyone, proving to be a fantastic addition to our cast. This is Bree’s first musical lead, and we have been blown away not only by her vocals and stage presence, but by her work ethic and professionalism. A huge animal lover, when she’s not at the theatre, you’ll find Bree training dogs or working in hospitality at the Great Central Hotel.

Rodney Murray - BILL

An entertainer and musician from Northern Rivers, our ‘intrepid traveller’ is a frequent visitor to the Glen Innes area. Rod loves a good old romantic ballad, and considers the melodies in Mamma Mia to be among the best.
