So you’ve learned the foundations of calligraphy, what’s next? 😅

If you have attended any of my Modern Calligraphy for Beginners workshop, this video tutorial series is made especially for you 💕

I have been working on a follow up modern calligraphy tutorial video series to build up further practice 💪🏻

Here are some of my favourite parts about my first astrology + brush calligraphy workshop at Hanmade's Bakehouse ✨

I was a little nervous going into this one, but Belinda and Nikki made the afternoon so special🤍

Watching these two beautiful souls learn brush calligraphy and turn their own birth charts into little works of art was such a special moment. Seeing people create something personal while slowing down, chatting and enjoying a little creative me time is exactly why I love teaching workshops 🥹🫶🏻

Now… should we make MORE magical memories? 👀

I will be putting up dates for the next astrology + brush calligraphy session for early next year. I also still have a tarot themed journal + calligraphy creative experience in the works, so watch out for those 👀 (magical girls, these are for you ✨👯‍♀️)

What are the fun little things that make you feel guilty doing? 🙈

There are times when it feels like I can barely catch up with life that I ✨ C A N N O T ✨ waste a single moment. And the end result? My mind gets overwhelmed, my body overworked, and my heart overunhappy 😢

I am very guilty of promoting self care and mental health through my workshops and posts but I do the complete opposite 🙈

I haven’t really been feeling the most productive lately, so I guess this post is a reminder to myself (and to everyone) that our hobbies don’t need to be productive, profitable or social media worthy to be worthwhile 🥲

Let’s do more of the things that bring us joy, help us slow down and give our brains a much needed breather 😌 we deserve breaks too 🫶🏻

A few things about me that may or may not make sense 🙈

I’m a nurse who is scared of needles 😨
I use astrology + tarot for introspection 🔮
I’m the queen of analysis paralysis 👸🏻
I’m actually shy af (even though I teach workshops) 🫠
I no longer do wedding calligraphy… unless it’s for my friends 👯‍♀️
And somehow, despite being an introvert, I genuinely LOVE teaching calligraphy workshops and creating cosy spaces where people can connect and creating something 💜

Basically, I’m a walking collection of contradictions lmao and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one 👀
