I love seeing this. Everyday Aussies from all walks of life and career’s, ranging from Military to Cricket to Flood rescue, being recognised for going above and beyond for Australians 🇦🇺

The Governor has presented Australian Honours and Awards to 19 distinguished Queenslanders recognised for outstanding military service and leadership, dedication to veterans, communities, cricket and faith, and actions during a flood rescue, during an Investiture Ceremony at Government House.

Government House is hosting seven Investiture Ceremonies in May, recognising more than 140 outstanding Queenslanders whose service spans community leadership, national defence, engineering, sport and more.

The remaining ceremonies from Tuesday to Thursday will be livestreamed here on Facebook and on our website.
