Expressions of Interest for participants in our This Is Us Project are now open!
What is This Is Us?
It's a visual arts project celebrating the achievements of women in business in the Gladstone Region, and their contributions to our community.
What's involved?
30 local women in business will have their portraits taken over January 9 - 11 by The Ashlee Aspect in her Gladstone studio.
These photos will be printed A3 size and framed to form the This Is Us exhibition, which will launch at our International Women's Day Event, GCCI International Women’s Day Event: Women Work Wonders.
The photos, and the participants' stories, will form the This Is Us: These Are Our Stories photobook; with copies donated to local high schools and Gladstone Region libraries to inspire future generations of business women.
The project also involves a behind-the-scenes documentary-style video by Wezzy Crüze.
