Gladstone Festivals and Events Gladstone Festivals and Events is a not-for-profit, self-funded organisation run by a small number of volunteers

Gladstone Festivals and Event's is responsible for organising the 5 night, 3 full day celebration we have come to know and love as the Gladstone Harbour Festival. The festival has a humble past but a very exciting future!

59 years ago the Gladstone Harbour Festival was born - a one-day celebration to greet the winners of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race as they crossed the finishing line. Th

e Festival rapidly expanded to five nights and three full days, jam-packed with entertainment that we now know as the Gladstone Harbour Festival. The Festival has enjoyed a huge growth, with over 70 000 spectators visiting the annual event. Much of this success can be contributed to the range and quality free entertainment provided at the Festival throughout the entire week. GFE is also responsible for organising The CQ Beer + Cider Festival. The event rapidly grew from its humble beginnings in 2020 to more than double in 2021. We hope our 3rd event in November 2021 will bring together the regions best brewers and beer lovers, bigger and better at a new location (hopefully restriction free)

GFE also provides event management services to the Gladstone community.

As we count down to our 65th Anniversary in 2027, we're excited to unveil our refreshed festival logo!
While our look has been updated to reflect the vibrant spirit of our region, one thing hasn't changed—our commitment to bringing the Gladstone community together to celebrate everything that makes our harbour and our people so special.
This new logo honours our rich history while looking ahead to an exciting future filled with community, entertainment, traditions, and unforgettable memories.

As we prepare to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Yaralla Gladstone Harbour Festival in 2027, we're taking a trip down memory lane—and we'd love for you to come with us!
For 65 years, our festival has brought the Gladstone community together through unforgettable moments, lifelong friendships, family traditions, exciting events, and spectacular celebrations.
