Our District Wool Manager Lindsay Brown had the pleasure of judging the fleece section of the Gilgandra Show held last weekend.

It was great to see a large number of entries. In the commercial section most fleeces were estimated to be worth over $100 each in the current market - it’s a great time to be in wool!

💚 In honour of our late steward Andrew McCutcheon 💚

This year, the Gilgandra Show Society proudly renamed the Farmers Challenge competition to the *Andrew McCutcheon Memorial Farmers Challenge* — a fitting tribute to a man who gave so much to our community.

With 10 teams competing, the event was full of energy, teamwork, and true country spirit 🚜
👏 An exciting competition from start to finish, and one we know Andrew would have loved.

We were deeply honoured to have Andrew’s dad, Ian, stewarding the competition this year, with extended family also present. Your support and involvement made the day even more special ❤️
