This reversible vest was slowly brought to life using puffball mushrooms, pomegranate skins and a homemade copper solution to gently shift the colour into beautiful earthy tones.
Made with linen and light canvas from Potter & Co , with organic cotton batting from Wool Valley tucked between the layers.
Every stitch, inside and out, was sewn by hand using a mixture of silk, linen and cotton threads.
The most beautiful moment was seeing Matias arrive at Gidge Land with Mark and literally jump with happiness when she saw her vest. Those moments make all the hours of slow making so special. 🤎
Each garment carries its own story, shaped by plants, natural fibres and the quiet rhythm of hand stitching.
