Glass class at tafe yesterday...making patchwork glass squares but as you know me , I went a bit rogue and did contemporary banksias!!!! We made powdered glass squares to make more with a different form and style. So much fun...can't recommend enough...doing a class with Kim Tetlow the only glass lecturer at all the Tafes in West Australia to teach ...so blessed to have this calibre of teacher in Geraldton!!!!!!

Oh my goodness...how time flies..had the most amazing art retreat in Bali with Maree Mack back in July where we stayed in a beautiful rural area up in Ubud with Lorraine Lambert Janeen Horne Artist Sioban Sioban Nolan and Chris Bolton ...we were treated to explore mixed media which I love...painting ...chalk pastels and charcoal...going into town to see wonderful ceramic exhibitions museums learning to make offerings..walks in the paddy fields and generally having a bit of a look around...we ate out at restaurants that had amazing views and viewing decks totally different architecture to what we are used to.!! The food was next level in some places. The gardens are superb and we were never short of inspiration ..colour texture shapes ...you to can go as Maree and her partner Steve organise these events every year...you don't have to be an artist!!! Just go with a sense of adventure and have a go attitude!!!
