Meet Shirley Staveley. The heart behind Tree Art Ex!
As the official organiser of Tree Art Ex, Shirley brings together art, community and a deep appreciation for the natural world. This year, we celebrate “Love the Leaves” recognising not only the beauty, colours and textures of leaves, but also the essential role trees play in our environment, providing shade, habitat and precious material for birds to create their incredible nests.
Join Shirley and our wonderful community of artists at Tree Art Ex 2026 and discover how creativity can inspire us to look at the trees around us with new eyes.

Leaves are more than a beautiful part of our landscape... they help trees capture carbon, produce oxygen, provide shade, shelter wildlife, and support healthier ecosystems. They also provide important support and natural material that birds use to build their remarkable nests. By valuing and protecting our trees, we also protect the many benefits they bring to our communities and to the environment we all share.

Come and experience Love the Leaves. Tree Art Ex 2026, and discover how local artists celebrate the beauty, importance, and inspiration of trees through art.
