A block from the Kardinia Park precinct (GMHBA Stadium), home of the Geelong Cats and various major sporting events. Established in 1859, The Barwon Club Hotel is Geelong’s premier live music venue that plays host to an array of weekly gigs, high school performances, annual festivals and fundraiser events featuring local, interstate and international acts. Whilst The BC has a lengthy rock history, hitting strongly through the 80’s and 90’s, they continue to welcome all original live music acts.

Billy Roy hit The Barwon Club stage for their debut headline show on Thursday 8 October, 2026, bringing a powerful mix of alternative rock, raw energy and commanding live performance, the band steps into the spotlight for its biggest show yet.
Joining them are special guests Stained And Spoiled and The Splices for a stacked night of emerging local rock.

Billy Roy is a 4 piece alternative rock band from Geelong, with members Leila, Maddy, Paddy and Isla. Known for their raw energy and urban grunge aesthetics. They explore honest and unapologetic takes of what it’s like growing up and living in regional Victoria.

The Splices are a 3 piece punk band based in Geelong. "With members Remy, Summer and Riley, We have a history of pink hair and a loud voice against the inequalities and corruption happening in and out of Australia” is what they say on their insta. =

Stained and Spoiled are an alternative/grunge rock band born out of Oxygen music, with members Leigh, Jade, Bridgette, Patrick, and Lachie. Create a uniquely grungy sound that focuses on storytelling and draws from both punk and theatrical influences

Garden Lane's sophomore single WAKE UP! is coming your way, and they're gonna celebrate with a gig at the good old Barwon Club in their home city of Geelong on Friday 25th September, 2026.

They'll bring the p***y energy of WAKE UP! alongside other favourites from across their eclectic discography, joined by Bigfoot Sighting and Pseudo Jazz!!!

Garden Lane is a three piece indie/alternative band proudly hailing from Djilang, Victoria. They blend introspective, honest songwriting with playing influenced by jazz, punk, and classic rock to create an eclectic, emo-inspired sound.

Co-fronted by Storm Randall (vocals, guitar, keys) and Molly Freeman (vocals, bass, banjo, guitar) and supported by the powerful rhythms of Xander Randall (drums), Garden Lane hopes to make art that matters and connect with their audiences.
