ALMACH CUSTOM AMPLIFIER RESTORATION

ROSE MORRIS GOLDENTONE Reverb/Tremolo 40Watt Combo

A fine example of the vacuum tube amplifiers produced by Rose Morris (Australia).
A unique circuit design using a valve type 6DQ6 that was commonly available at the the time for black & white TV's.(Horizontal Deflection amplifier).

This example here being repaired & restored to optimum performance here at .

ALMACH CUSTOM AMPLIFIER RESTORATION

PHASE LINEAR 400 Series One Stereo Power Amplifier

USA manufactured sometime around 1975 after the XPL909 transistor was developed, Low distortion/High Linearity/High Power which became very popular with sound reinforcement companies from that era on wards.
The method to 'Trace & Locate" fault conditions is somewhat tricky compared to vacuum tube amplifiers as discrete (transistor) amplifiers are mostly direct coupled.
This example here being repaired & restored to optimum performance here at .

ALMACH CUSTOM AMPLIFIER RESTORATION

Ampeg Superbreverb Model R-15 R

A fantastic example of the Ampeg R15R combo from 1963.
Produced for barely a year,truly rare Ampeg history.
Using 3 x 6SL7 1 x 12AX7 & 2 x 7591 outputs produces ~25watts into Jensen C15N loudspeaker.
Thick clean tone with tube tremolo & reverb & 15 inch speaker which would have been popular to both rock & jazz players alike.
Restored back to original working condition here at .
