The 2026 Geelong Comedy Festival is just around the corner.

From 22–25 October, more than 100 comedians will take over 8 venues across Geelong for four days of stand-up, improv, cabaret, kids shows and plenty more.

There are huge names, brilliant local acts, award-winning performers, weird little shows, big laughs and plenty to stumble across over the weekend.

We’re officially just 8 weeks away from the 2026 Geelong Comedy Festival.

From 22nd–25th October, more than 100 comedians will take over 8 local venues for four huge days of stand-up, improv, cabaret, kids shows, clowning and plenty more.

There’s a massive mix of shows across the weekend, from festival favourites and touring comedians to local acts and plenty of people you might be discovering for the first time.

Consider this your reminder to mark the calendar because the countdown to the 2026 Geelong Comedy Festival is officially on.

From 22nd–25th October, more than 100 comedians will take over 8 amazing local venues for four days of stand-up, improv, cabaret, kids shows, clowning and plenty more.

Whether you come along for one show or build your whole weekend around the festival, we can’t wait to have everyone back together again this October.

We’re so excited to announce the program for the 4th annual Geelong Comedy Festival, running 22nd–25th October 2026.

4 days. 8 central venues. 85 shows.
All across Geelong.

This year’s festival has a bit of everything — stand-up, improv, cabaret, clowning, kids’ shows, and plenty more.

Whether you want to see a favourite, take a chance on someone new, or grab some mates and make a whole night of it, there’s plenty to choose from across the four days.

We’ve got brilliant comedians coming to Geelong from around Australia and overseas, alongside some of our favourite local acts.
