Waiting for my coffee to kick in.

I've gone through a bobbin already, because quilting uses a lot of thread. Set up my next piece, happily chugged away, got to the end of the line - no stitches.

Not out of bobbin thread - I had completely forgotten to put a new bobbin in.

So that's in my first hour of sewing today. It can only improve from here 🤣

The countdown to the inverleigh_flower_show is on and sewing is an absolute joy when I get to look at all these gorgeous floral designs while working.

Of course, they're nothing compared to the real beauties that will be on display on the day, but I can certainly try!

We all need some certainty as the silly season approaches. Here's Finch and Fae's pricing update. Don't stress - it's good news!

Also, free postage means that it doesn't matter if you buy one item this week, then one in a fortnight and spread it out - it will not cost you more.

And online means shopping in your pjs with your cat unexpected adding items to the cart. Just me?

After a rare weekend off, my next event will be the inverleigh_flower_show on Saturday 31 October. I'm very excited for this awesome local event at 71 High St!

Things I can promise:
🌼Lots of pretties. I have been collecting them especially and I love a theme!

🏵I'm likely to be over-hyped on coffee

It's another sunny day in Geelong, and wandering under the shade of the oaks trees in Drysdale sounds like a good idea to me!

Come on down to Drysdale Community Market - there's more than 100 stallholders and some tasty food smells wafting across the site.

And puppers. Lots of well-behaved puppers. ❤️

All set up in Centrepoint Arcade off Little Malop St, Geelong - next to the Geelong City Market - for the Market!

Good news: I remembered the tote bags! Bad news: I overcatered - anyone who knows me is not surprised- and the glasses cases and zipper pouches I had last month are here, but wouldn't fit on the table.

It's a gorgeous day, there's stacks happening in G-town, so add a visit to support local makers and artists to your list. Open 10am-3pm!

I'm so excited to announce the launch of the Festive Glitter Without the Litter range!

Designed with longevity and sustainability in mind, these products include Keepsel - a eco-friendly alternative to tinsel - plus tree-toppers and other items to come.

These are current made to order items, and there are limited quantities of fabric.

There was a slight moment of panic when I saw this error message come up!

According to the interweb it could mean a broken needle, bent needle, material in the machinery - pretty much anything that causes any sewing machine problem.

It was overdue for a clean - and it's always amazing how much lint and fluff comes off fabric!

A gentle, careful prod and clear with a brush and she's working again. But a mini-vac is next on my list - it's hard to clean the lint out without pushing it further into the machinery.

This is why it's handy to know how to do basic maintenance on your tools 😃
