Our Limitless Learning Professional Development is grounded in our philosophy of Why Not? encouraging educators to look at play, behaviour, inclusion and learning through a different lens.
Together with Steph from Star Learning, Behavioural Consultant and owner of starlearning_ebc we explore how loose parts can become intentional, meaningful tools within everyday learning environments.
We explore our Loose Parts Personalities, considering how different minds may engage with play in different ways and how we can create experiences and provide resources that support individual learning styles, regulation and participation.
We also explore how to seamlessly embed loose parts into everyday play, moving beyond the idea of a “token basket” of resources. We share practical ideas for setting up experiences, extending existing play and intentionally introducing loose parts to encourage creativity, problem-solving, communication and connection.
