Woooo hoooooo!! Congratulations!!!!
Chris has been mosaicing with me Wednesday nights for many years in the humble beginnings of my second location in my home studio at Evanston. In the early years she was known for her streak of large heavy mosaics 😁
Together we have over-done Melissa Ethridge ( and will continue too) 😁 had so many laughs and great companionship in the Wed night group. Chris is affectionately known as my "2nd in Charge" as every workshop she stops her work and does a round of the studio checking on everyone's progress and giving "Kernels of Wisdom" 🤣😂🤣🥰
I asked Chris to answer these questions for me 😁 :
1. What do you enjoy about the art of mosaic?
2 What is your favourite piece?
3. What do you enjoy about attending my workshops?
Here's her response 😁
"Mosaic's provides an opportunity to be creative in multiple ways. It can be as basic as a plant pot, a paver or a house number in tile, glass or china. It can also be as crazy like the pair of gum boots I did in willow ware china. I'm currently doing pavers for the garden, so many to do I don't know when I'll be finished.
My favourite piece is the table top I did for my daughter. That one was an original idea rather than taking an idea from pinterest! I'm enjoying the garden pavers I'm making now, although I'm sure I'll get sick of them eventually 😁 I think I'm to self critical, although I get good feedback from everyone.
I enjoy attending for the creative outlet, friendship, laughter and chocolate. What's not to enjoy? It's a real boost to my well being."
