🛬 THE FESTIVAL HAS ARRIVED 🛬

The Business Gawler 2024 Arts on the Plains festival is finally here, spreading artistic flair across the greater Gawler region until the 8th of September 📆

The launch event yesterday saw artists mingle with the community, who got a taste of the creative talents in our region as Sandi's creative cakes and gourmet catering provided the cake and young local artist/singer/musician Abbey Dale performed 🎵

Attendees also heard an insightful Q&A into the inspirations and work of artists Erin Down and Anita Thorsteinsson, and photographers Jack Carey and Daniel Down - thank you to all for participating! 🎤

A special thank you to the Minister for Arts, the Hon Andrea Michaels MP, Major "Moogy" Sumner, Karen Redman - Mayor of Gawler and Member for Light Tony Piccolo MP for helping to launch the event 👏

Who can forget about the volunteers and sponsors - Business Gawler, Beyond Bank Town of Gawler, Gawler Community Gallery and Tony Piccolo MP - who keep the event going 🚂

Thanks to everyone who came along, and we hope all visitors and locals to Gawler take some time over the next four weeks to explore and support the work that has gone into more than 20 different activities and exhibitions - we promise you'll be amazed at the creations 😮
