Experimenting with textures, structures, and slight changes in processes. I love the finish I have achieved, it definitely has a paperbark feel.

Re-activating creativity with a few sketches. When thinking through my next work, I use my photos as references to better understand the different bird structures and features. Spending time sketching allows me to develop a deeper understanding of form, and line direction for translation into stitch.
