The Lockyer Valley Libraries’ page is a vital tool in keeping the commu
nity updated about library services, activities and general library information. A big part of the success of the page is you and while we encourage everyone to post comments and interest with our posts, there are some general guidelines we have for posting on our page. Please ensure that you:
- Do not harass, abuse or threaten other visitors to the site or Council employees
- Do not post comments that are likely to offend others, particularly in reference to an individual’s race, age, gender, sexuality, political leaning, religion, employment or disability
- Do not use obscene or offensive language
- Do not post the same comments repeatedly
- Do not promote anything that may constitute spam, such as commercial interest, solicitations, advertisements or endorsements of any non-governmental agency
- Do protect your personal privacy and also the privacy of others by not including email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses on the public wall. We ask that you consider the above points before posting on our page. Please report any offensive material present on LVLibraries Facebook to us immediately. Any comments which do not fit the above definitions will be removed at Council’s sole discretion and people repeatedly breaking the above requirements may be blocked from this page.
