Crackpot Studios & Gallery hosts regular exhibitions where Australian ceramicists and artists can showcase and sell their work.

We are also a dedicated ceramic studio offering workshops in clay.

While many have flown the Gardens, there are still some waiting for you. 🌸

If a flower is not your thing, there are literally thousands of unique artworks on display and for sale. Sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and hand-blown glass.

It’s a lovely day out. Foundation and Friends volunteers will be on hand if you have any questions about the exhibition or the organisation.

A little close up of one of the flowers that will be on display in Artisans in the Gardens.

Each unique flower has been hand built with clay. Bisque fired. Glazed with several layers of underglaze and glazes. Glaze fired. Some have rust painted stems. Recycled metal poles attached. Packed and delivered to Lion Gate Lodge.

Whew 😅 🙌

Yes, it was a mammoth undertaking making that many flowers (again😂). It was done with lots of good humour, yummy food, long days, many laughs and the occasional swearing.

Please do visit this exhibition which is an annual fundraiser for Foundation and Friends. There will be over 3000 artworks on display. Bring your pressie shopping list! 😉

But wait, there’s more! For anyone enjoying a slower pace in life, we have also made and delivered a variety of individual ceramic snails. You never knew you wanted one until you spy them. 🐌

We had absolutely gorgeous weather while setting up “Passage of Life” to be a part of Sculptures in the Garden 2024. It’s such a beautiful place. We are thrilled to have our work showcased together with the other sculptures being exhibited. Thank you for having us! 😊

It’s so worth a trip to Mudgee to visit this exhibition and you get to do some wine tasting too.

It was a muddy kind of day during the installation for the North Sydney Art Prize at the Coal Loader.

Never mind the weather, the Crackpot team of Bridget, Caroline, Mandie and Sarah, happily completed the sculpture installation (ok maybe with the occasional expletive 🤪)!
