GET READY FOR CHO KAIRIN SUPER ACROBAT TEAM

Step into the breathtaking world of Cho Kairin, the King of Chinese Acrobats, and his top disciple Ma Kenluck. Born in Hebei, China—a region renowned for its rich acrobatic tradition—Cho Kairin is the latest in a long lineage of acclaimed performers, continuing a family dynasty that spans four generations. Trained from the age of six in the rigorous Hebei Acrobat School Cho Kairin has amazed audiences across the U.S., Europe, and Japan, winning numerous awards, including the Gold Prize at the Hebei Acrobat Competition (1998) and the 2017 World Champion title at the Daidogei World Cup in Shizuoka, Japan. With extraordinary feats of balance, precision, and strength, Cho Kairin and his Super Acrobat Team deliver performances that are at once thrilling, elegant, and awe-inspiring—a living celebration of centuries of Chinese acrobatic mastery.

🎪 Grab your +1 and settle in for a full day of fun, spectacle and a little bit of the unexpected. Roll straight into an afternoon of world-class street performance:
From 1pm, lock in a spot at Sail & Anchor for the chaos and charm of Karcocha, followed by the gravity-defying Cho Kairin Super Acrobat Team at 2pm.
At 3pm, things get personal with Osadia – a live makeover where the audience becomes the show.
Stroll the Cappuccino Strip, catch The Skull Squires, then head harbour-side for the poetic, floating circus of Surcouf.
As the afternoon rolls on, don’t miss:
✨ Dawn Pascoe with Natural Wings
✨ Mr Dyvinetz in Vari
✨ A sunset set from Saritah
Then stick around for FISAF After Dark!
Dinner, drinks, and people-watching before the one-night-only Night Show featuring a stacked lineup of festival favourites all in one place.

Enjoy accessible street art next week in Fremantle. 🎭

DADAA is offering audio description and assistive listening at this year’s Fremantle International Street Arts Festival, supporting people with low or no vision to take part in the experience.

When: Sunday 5 April from 1pm–4pm
Where: Esplanade Park, Fremantle

The afternoon includes:
1pm – Weight(less): An uplifting acrobatic performance exploring resilience and connection
2pm – Crazy Pony: A playful mix of live music and circus
3pm – Karcocha: Interactive street theatre filled with humour

Audio description and Bluetooth assistive listening will be available.
