This , weโ€™re inviting you to support WA-made puppetry by becoming a Puppet Parent.

Choose one of our much-loved puppets and adopt from $75 a year.

As a Puppet Parent, youโ€™ll receive an adoption certificate, letter and photo of your puppet, with additional benefits available across our adoption levels.

Most importantly, your adoption helps Spare Parts continue creating puppetry and sharing stories with children and families.

Todayโ€™s the day! Shaun Tanโ€™s new graphic novel Hometown is officially out in Australia today.

Some of you might recognise ๐—›๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ป from our musical stage adaptation, which developed alongside Shaunโ€™s book over several years before premiering in January 2025.

We canโ€™t wait to pick up a copy and see the complete world of Hometown come to life on the page.

Congratulations, Shaun!

What a special show this was. We were so lucky to be joined on stage by some wonderful older members of the Port Hedland community, who brought so much humour and heart to the performance.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this performance one to remember, and to Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema for having us!

Seven months in, and weโ€™re getting closer to opening the doors to our new home!

The transformation of the Ellie Eaton Theatre at Claremont Showground has come a long way, with more of the spaces weโ€™ve imagined now becoming real.

With completion planned for later this year, itโ€™s so exciting to see the finishing line coming into view. We canโ€™t wait for you all to see it too!

A huge thank you to the WA Government, Lotterywest, the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia and everyone who has helped make the building of our new home possible!
