Artwalk Freo Artwalk Freo returns in May 2024! Artwalk Freo invites the public into the studio homes of prominent Fremantle artists over the weekend of 5-6 September 2015.

You're invited into the studio homes of more than 20 prominent Fremantle artists, along three different walking routes for three weekends in May. Take a stroll around Fremantle and White Gum Valley and see where the inspiration comes from. This years artists include Michael Knight, Trevor Richards, Ian de Souza, Eveline Kotai, Annette Seeman and John Teschendorff. Joining them will be guests Ron Nyisztor, Penny Coss, Penny Bovell and Adam Shand.

After such a busy May, it seems hard to believe that Artwalk Freo is really over for another year. 😥

We’re already looking onwards and upwards to the next Artwalk Freo, and we’d love your 2024 feedback to help inform and improve future events.

Aaaand that's a wrap! 🏁

What an amazing three weekends we've enjoyed; fabulous art, beautiful weather and abundant community spirit. It's been a blast all round!

A massive thank you to all who walked the trails, stepped out of your comfort zones and gained an insight into the Freo arts community. Thank you for your support and encouragement and we hope you were inspired by the amazing creative spaces.

Of course, we couldn't have done it without the talented and generous artists - the heart and soul of the event - who bravely opened the doors to their private, creative spaces... what a privilege to be invited in to share it with them. THANK YOU!

Last but not least, on behalf of the artists, a huge shout-out to Ros de Souza who has worked away tirelessly in the background to bring all things Artwalk to life! Always looking for opportunities to showcase and foster art and community in all its forms. What a gem!
