I am eager to share my latest artistic exploration with you, a painting style that I am developing. This style centres on the use of negative space, achieved through a transparent layer, to create a subtle, out-of-focus effect. The base layers are characterized by warm or cool colour schemes. The paintings themselves are inspired by the natural world. What do you think of this new style and direction?

Three new minis in the pipeline. Wevev had some pretty amazing sunset skies the last few months. These are inspired by the warmth of Summer & Autumn skies with their movement and joy mixed in. These are in a wooden floating frame measuring 33cm x 33cm.

I had the honour of painting a commission for my principal. She wanted a personalsed painting to gift to her two deputy principals to show them how much they mean to her, and how much they are appreciated. In the painting symbolism and meaning that pertains to their strength as a team is incorporated.

We shared a wonderful moment this morning as the gift was given, it was really beautiful to be apart of something so special.
