Another gorgeous evening at Moore & Moore Cafe ❤️ Thank you so much to Maya Ixchell, Carus Thompson and traceybarnettmusic. From songs about panic attacks in the kitchen aisle in Kmart, to Paul Kelly inspired lyrics and songs about resilience. It was a showcase of some of WA’s best songwriters ❤️

Meet Maya Ixchell , joining us at The Songwriters Café on October 7! ✨

Maya has become a name to watch in WA music, performing at Nannup Music Festival, touring from Perth to Broome and supporting artists including the Hoodoo Gurus and Baby Animals. With eleven singles to her name and a Folk WAM Song of the Year nomination, we’re so looking forward to hearing her songs and stories in the round.
