Boss & Big Al strive to keep authentic blues alive while providing a great nights entertainment. Jump, Swing and Chicago Blues played by some of WA's, Australia's and the Worlds best exponents of this wonderful musical genre. We like to see a full dance floor but appreciate some people like to listen and so maintain a nice environment with a big volume control..... Come see us, bring your dancing shoes and have a natural ball....

Ladies and Gents, blues lovers, Cool Cats and Smitten Kittens, A little update to our upcoming Show May 21st, The advertised show featuring "Boss" & the boys from The Score will now be the fantastic Grant Touchell playing Solo.
"Boss" hopes to be back in June with Wing man Big Al and their guest for the evening so watch this space and for now enjoy the May show with Grant and his sweet Guitar....

Friends, Followers and Fans, some sad news today as I was recently informed of the passing of a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul.
A lot of you will remember Aria Wahanui, the hostess with the mostest, chef and catering manager supreme at the original home of the Thursday night Blues Sessions, The Australia Hotel. What some of you may not know is that Aria was the driving force and instigator of "Boss" & Big Al's Blues Sessions. It was Aria that asked us originally to put on the Thursday sessions, she battled with the owners to get the funds to be able to put the night on and was a great supporter even when we left The Australia Hotel. We did try to name the night after her back in the early days but she was far to humble to accept. We owe a lot of great nights filled with love, fun and top music to Aria, we will hold her dear in our hearts and always attribute "Boss" & Big Al's Blues Sessions to her name.
Rest In Peace Aria and thank you for everything, Tommy & Al, all the musicians and blues loving fans.
