Named for the Greek god Dionysus, patron of Drama and the god of wine, pleasure & fertility, the company aims to provide great theatre in both comedy and drama in yearly 'festivals' - wine will be involved but we have to hold off on the fertility or**es until we get a permit from the council.

Huge shout out to the team for their massive efforts planning and executing the sizzle today! It was no easy feat. Additional shout out for our Treasurer Rob Joy for your amazing support in planning, and Bunnings Frankston for having us!

Step into a world of temptation, mystery, and sisterhood as Dionysus Theatre Inc. presents Goblin Market.

Inspired by Christina Rossetti’s haunting Victorian poem, this lush reimagining blends music, movement, and choral storytelling into a theatrical feast where sweetness turns to menace and desire becomes an act of rebellion.

A fever dream of rustling skirts, whispered bargains, and forbidden fruit awaits. Will you take a bite?

This Public Holiday Monday, 8 June, you'll find the Dionysus Theatre crew firing up the barbecue at Bunnings Frankston (corner of McMahons Road and Gertrude Street) to raise funds for community theatre on the Peninsula.
