As Mary takes her final flight and the rain settles in, we’d like to take a moment to share a heartfelt thank you to our entire FHS community for what was a record breaking season for us.
Mary Poppins has been our largest undertaking to date; almost 90 cast members, 20 tech and crew, 500+ costumes, 30+ set pieces, 12 piece band, and our first show utilizing hand drawn animations. Some might say, an impossible mountain to climb, but with the best people by our side, we joyfully made it to the top.
We could not be more grateful for the support of our FHS community, staff, students, parents, and spectacular cast for taking this trek with us. Four completely sold out shows is no easy feat, but with months of hard work, belief, and a little bit of magic, we created something truly moving.
We are endlessly proud of our production program and all of the supremely talented students we get the pleasure of knowing each year. Thank you for your trust and for telling this gorgeous story with so much heart. It is an honour to do this with you and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
