And now introducing the cat himself...
Jack Green as 'Puss in Boots'!
Jack is a cat person who will be playing a cat person and he has also written the script and songs for this show!
Mr Green last featured in our April show of ‘Rumpelstiltskin’ as the grumpy trickster himself. Jack has worked as a children’s entertainer since he was 15, and now adapts traditional folktales, such as ‘Puss in Boots’, into comedic musical performances to captivate and entertain kids, and anyone with a child’s heart.
“This adaptation of ‘Puss in Boots’ is a coming of age story, and I’ve injected modern themes and morals into the bones of the story, which hopefully children can learn from and appreciate. I also hope they can appreciate how I've managed to find myself in a cat suit."
Jack involves himself in a range of community theatre work, such as Panorama’s ‘Rock of Ages’ (Drew), FHS’s ‘Legally Blonde’ (Assistant Vocal Coach), and PLOS’s upcoming ‘Les Mis’ (Courfeyrac).
Jack hopes audiences for ‘Puss in Boots’ enjoy the show and aren't allergic to him.
To see Jack in a cat onesie (and let's face it, you want to see Jack in a cat onesie) book tickets ($13) to 'Puss in Boots' on July 9 & 10 at www.trybooking.com/BDBZD
