Ghost in the Machine is an exhibition that brings together artists Celacious666, Rainer Ciar, Fei Gao and Kalanjay Dhir, whose shared interests in avatars and embodiment were born from fiction and digital cultures.

Reliving memories and emotions through roleplay by creating costume, illustrations and fan work, the artists manifest alternate personas and characters that give body and form to psychological landscapes.

On now until 28 June at the Judith Wright Arts Centre gallery.

Join Outer Space and Institute of Modern Art after dark at the Judith Wright Arts Centre.

DEMO 1/4 is the first in a series of after-hours art experiments at the Judith Wright Arts Centre with a nighttime program of performances, exhibitions and activations that invite curiosity over formality.

Think of it as art without the usual edges - just space to linger, participate, and wander. One night only - three more to come. Stay late.

In 2024, Archie Moore made history as the first Australian artist to win the prestigious Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale πŸ†

Nearly two decades earlier, Moore created a series of large, unstretched paintings that explored the coincidence of Moore's name with the popular American comic book character and the different childhoods they experienced.
