❗️SCHEDULED OUTAGE POSTPONED ❗️

Centre will open as usual 6am but changes to classes and squad will remain as below.

Facility Update - Friday 4 September

Council will be carrying out work on the main switchboard on Friday morning, resulting in a temporary power outage between 5:30am and approximately 6:30am.

As a result:

✅ 6:05am Gym Floor Class will commence at 6:35am.
✅ 5:30am Squad training has been cancelled for this day.
✅ The centre will open at 6:30am, unless works are completed earlier.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Our lifeguards are trained to supervise the pool and respond in emergencies, but parents and carers play the most important role in keeping children safe around water.

When visiting our venue, stay close, stay engaged, and keep your focus on children in and around the water, at all times. By working together, we can help create a safer and more enjoyable aquatic experience for everyone.

Please join us in welcoming Darcey to the Great Lakes Aquatic & Leisure Centre team as one of our newest Lifeguards! 🏊‍♀️

When she's not keeping our patrons safe around the pool, Darcey loves spending time hiking and travelling. 🌿✈️

Fun Fact: Darcey is continuing a family connection here at the centre. Her dad also works here as one of our fantastic Swim Coaches!

We're excited to have Darcey as part of the team and look forward to seeing her around the centre.
