🎉✨ Celebrating 60 Years of the Southern Academy of Dance! ✨🎉

What an incredible year and what an amazing final showcase to mark 60 wonderful years of dance, memories, and community! 💃🩰

A huge thank you to all our students, families, parents, and volunteers who helped make our end-of-year performance so special. Your energy, support, and love for dance brought every moment to life. 💖

We also take a moment to remember and honour the late Miss Sandra Breen, the heart and soul of the studio. Her passion, guidance, and dedication inspired generations of dancers and left an extraordinary legacy in the dance community — locally, nationally, and internationally. 🌟 You will forever be missed and cherished, Miss Breen.

As we close the book on the Southern Academy of Dance, we would love for you to keep an eye out for a new dance studio being opened by Miss Louise, Miss Evelyn and their sister Sylvia. Learn more about this new studio and upcoming classes here at: Kindred Dance Collective

In our 60th year, this year's annual showcase will be our final showcase! This Saturday, the 6th of December, we would love for you to join us as we dedicate our last showcase to Miss Breen, 'One Last Time, From The Top!'

🤍 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved teacher, Miss Breen.

Just last weekend, we celebrated 60 years — a milestone made possible by her passion for dance, and the thousands of students whose lives she touched. Miss Breen was more than a teacher — she was the heart of our studio, a mentor to students and teachers, and an inspiration to generations.

For now, we hold her in our hearts, with deep love and gratitude. Miss Breen, you taught us so much more than dance steps, you taught us life lessons that will carry us through our own lives. We are all blessed to have shared the journey.
