Sash is a self-taught singer who has sung in various church choirs since she was 9 years old when she was first an ABBA fan, including in Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church Basilica Choir as a mezzo-soprano, soprano, & can also sing alto, & still sings at 55 years old in St Francis Church ‘Julian Singers’ choir. Having had a turbulent teen childhood, it left it late for her to now study her classical AMEB Music studies, & she completed 2 term levels of Classical Singing short course training at Victorian College of the Arts, at University of Melbourne. Sash, a reluctant ‘pop star’, has also enjoyed having sung in the chorus at the Winter ‘Rising Festival’, Melbourne, “Night Chorus” for the ‘Rising Festival’ skating rink events on 01 June - 12 June 2022 with rehearsals held at Australian Institute of Music (AIM). I taught myself my singing & creative development, & learnt from my choir instructors. She taught herself how to read & write music using Udemy & AMEB Music Theory courses, MuseScore. Sash can read music notation and use Sibelius Music manuscript software that I taught myself to use, and iPad apps MuseScore, GarageBand, BandLab, and Music Notation Pad and Notation Pad’s Piano Plus for composing & typing sheet music, I can compose music to basic level, & enjoy songwriting. Sash believes in a Celtic spirit of holistic creative development & Christian crystal healing spirituality, with mindfulness, good health, & well-being, that comes from one’s own intuition, that can also be creative arts therapy, not just as a ‘pop star production machine’; & in preference to drug addiction to su***de, or to escape & rebel reality. Sash believes in a creative philosophy of music production & promotion with ❤️ heart, namely Sacred Heart ❤️❤️🔥 of Jesus Christ centredness from her Catholic education upbringing. Sash says “I suffered Bereavement Grief after my Mother died in 1991, I had Depression mental health illness also for many years, and I now have menopause difficulties, so I understand the emotional heart pain & anguish of mental health illness, & I’m having to relearn guitar, ukulele, piano, Roland & Yamaha DX7 synthesisers, tambourine & triangle too with music support in the ‘Wild at Heart’ Music Community Group Program. My dearest deceased Mother Marcia Hill was also a pianist as well and is a big music influence to me.”
