Can you tell which was painted in 2022 VS now? 🤔It’s crazy how far my skills have come in the last few years, this painting is a perfect example of that. I created the original (second image) in 2022 and the new version (first image) a couple weeks ago, in only a few hours. It’s important to step back and see how far you have come sometimes ✨🙌🏼 oh yeah, and I posted a YouTube video about re-creating the painting! link in bio 👉🏻

IM A FINALIST 💗 My humble croissant is a finalist in Quadrant Gallery’s Feel Good Art prize!!! This comp showcases artworks that make you feel good and are smaller than 20x20x20 cm. I can’t wait for the exhibition in March to see another one of paintings on a gallery wall (so crazy to say). Feeling proud of myself ✨🤩

Such a surreal experience seeing my art on a gallery wall! It was a last minute decision to enter into the small art prize and It feels like my first major step into the industry as an artist. I may not have won anything but the experience has been a huge achievement for me, especially with building my confidence as an artist ✨🎨

‘Through Colour’ Acrylic on Canvas

Inspired by a piece of iridescent cellophane I obtained from a bunch of flowers, I found myself holding on to it, constantly amazed by complex colours when I looked at it. I decided to experiment and see how I could create a piece of artwork incorporating the iridescent colours and show how something so simple can be used to change an ordinary image into something so much more 🌈✨
