I worked in sales in a previous life, and something I noticed is a lot of people purchased a ‘price’ and not necesarily a product that met their actual needs the best.

Some people were even reluctant to talk with sales staff about what their end goal was and restricted the conversation to a price on a predetermined product. The same thing happens here at the studio sometimes.

While I really understand budgets, who you work with you on your music will make or break it. Something I’ve learned from experience as both the artist and the producer, is that the journey and the relationship are key elements to a great outcome for the artist. That’s always been my passion.
