Since 2012, Mon Sans Productions is dedicated to supporting and telling stories that involve and engage young artists. Established by young actors, Mon Sans works towards staging theatrical shows performed and produced by the artist themselves. Founded by the initiative of a pair of friends, who shared the stage at various points before, Melanie Araya and Liviu Monsted started working with friends
who shared the same passion for performance and theatre. From there, the ambitious cast of 2012 preceded to stage ‘Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead’ by American playwright, Bert V. Operating between the Mon Sans HQ in Pennant Hills and the Fairfield School of Arts, Mon Sans has literally extended itself in working all throughout Sydney. In its second year, Mon Sans Productions worked with a larger base of new actors to produce a new play by Liviu Monsted himself, ‘Not a Word’ at the Riverside Theatres, Parramatta. Mon Sans Productions is a company which offers to involve artists who want to get busy and provide further knowledge and insight into theatre, the arts and entertainment industry. We pride ourselves on the opportunities we have provided other artists and by celebrating their successes; we believe we are mutually celebrating our own as a nurturing theatre company.
