Blue Sky Harmony is a dynamic a cappella ensemble, committed to excellence, education and entertainment. We are based in Brisbane, Australia.

Blue Sky Harmony is a premier performance ensemble, committed to musical excellence, educating singers and entertaining audiences. We are available to hire to perform at small or large events, and can tailor an entertainment package to suit your requirements. We rehearse on Wednesday nights in Everton Park and welcome visitors; please contact us in advance if you are interested in coming along.

We had so much fun today at Brisbane Festival, running a 'Wake Up And Sing' workshop! Our Musical Director, Julie, ran through warm-ups, then taught a round, some body percussion, a five-chord change and part of one of our songs - a wonderful introduction to a ca****la singing.

During the session, we were also featured in a live cross on Weekend Sunrise with weatherman JT! It was exciting to throw together something on the fly to fit the timeframe and help promote Brisbane Festival. One of our pitch-pipers even got a feature!

We then performed three songs to round out the workshop, before a debrief over breakfast/coffee.

Special congratulations to Helen and Kylie, who had their first public performance today as members of Blue Sky Harmony 💙 Here's to many more!

Our Brisbane Festival 'Wake Up And Sing' event is coming up this weekend! On Saturday the 5th of September from 7am to 8am, we'll be running a free workshop for anyone who loves to sing.

Spread the word amongst friends and family - particularly the early birds and those who live near South Bank! The stage will be in the Festival Village, next to the BRISBANE sign (near QPAC).

Experience the joy of singing with other members of the community in a ca****la harmony. We know you'll feel ready for the rest of the weekend after starting the day with singing 💙🎶

Wow, what an amazing night with Nicky Salt! We had a fabulous time working on flow, resonance, drive and connection - with many laughs along the way.

We don't know how Nicky still brings so much energy after weeks on the road, but we're very thankful to have had her with us for a special Thursday rehearsal.

Thanks also to Sweet Adelines Australia for bringing Nicky to Australia 💙

We're home from a glorious weekend retreat in Boonah! Exhausted but very happy - so much singing, dancing, learning, laughing, chatting and eating delicious food.

Glenda Lloyd returned as our coach (our third retreat with Glenda!) and the timing was perfect for getting our new ballad up and running, working through some challenges in our uptune and elevating our sound. We did solid work on many transferable skills, which we look forward to embedding over the coming weeks and months. Thank you, Glenda - it is always a joy to learn from you and experience your positive and collaborative approach.

Here are a few photos from the weekend - we'll share more memories later (with fewer words). But for now, we'd like to give a huge thanks to our Musical Director, Julie, for her leadership and endless enthusiasm to keep us moving towards the next level!

Special thanks also go to Nat G for scouting venues and coordinating our bookings - plus cooking an absolute feast alongside our "Blue Sky Bush Dance" party host, Louise. Louise and Andrew, thank you for being such generous hosts and making our evening memorable 💙 And for looking after our MD and coach for the weekend!

Our Management Team and Music Team took on many tasks ahead of retreat and throughout the weekend - we truly appreciate their efforts 🙏

We can't believe it's been a year since these three legends joined our chorus! Last night we presented Blue Sky Harmony bags to Riley, Lynette and Terri to mark the occasion.

We're thrilled that they came to our open rehearsal last winter and then decided to stick around. Here's to many more years of membership! 🥂🎉💙
