🌿 Opening This Saturday at Cedar Gallery 🌿

The opening event for Transformation: The Language of Water this Saturday has officially sold out. Thank you for the incredible support!

If you missed out on opening day, there's still plenty of opportunity to experience the exhibition. From Sunday 2 August, the exhibition will be open to visitors during the Mackay Festivals of Arts throughout August and September.

Presented by the Transformation Artists Collective, this exhibition has evolved since its first showing during Whitsunday Voices. Some artworks continue the journey, while others have made way for new works, creating a fresh exhibition inspired by the language of water and thoughtfully curated for the beautiful Cedar Gallery

Whether you're looking for a relaxing day out in Eungella, an opportunity to support local artists, or a unique original artwork for your home or workplace, we'd love to welcome you.

🖼️ All artworks are available for purchase.

Gather a few friends, enjoy a day in the Pioneer Valley, and discover the stories behind the artworks created by local artists from across our region.

Bookings from Sunday 2 August can be made directly through Cedar Gallery: www.cedar.gallery

We look forward to welcoming you.

✨ Meet the Artists of Transformation: The Language of Water ✨

Following the wonderful response to our opening exhibition during Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival, Transformation: The Language of Water continues its journey—this time to the breathtaking Cedar Gallery in Eungella.

Rather than simply moving from one venue to another, the exhibition has transformed to respond to its new setting. Some artworks continue the journey, others have made way for new works, creating a fresh exhibition that reflects both the unique character of Cedar Gallery and the ever-changing language of water itself.

We're delighted to introduce the 13 local artists exhibiting in this next chapter:

🎨 Rosemary Payne
🎨 Grace McDonald
🎨 Brigitte Zimmermann
🎨 Charlene Attard
🎨 Kate Williamson
🎨 Leah Tranter
🎨 Liz Ranger-Craven
🎨 Stacey Nicholas
🎨 Wanda Bennett
🎨 Lisa Roebig-Holmes
🎨 Marina McIntyre
🎨 Lindsay Meyer
🎨 Tracey Koch

Join us as we celebrate the creativity of artists from across the Mackay region and Pioneer Valley, exploring water through painting, ceramics, glass, textiles, printmaking, and mixed media.

Every exhibition in this series will continue to evolve—transforming through new venues, new artworks and new conversations.

We look forward to sharing this next chapter with you.
