It was a privilege to record and add a string arrangement to this beautiful acoustic song by Michael Fuhrman-Luck at the end of last year.

When Michael sent me the rough demo it was obvious it was a special piece of music both musically and lyrically. I knew I'd have to work carefully around what was already there not too add too much more.

Michael came into the studio and recorded the acoustic and his vocals as a demo track for me to work with. On the spur of the moment he took the last verse and chorus up and octave vocally and it just took the song to a new place. In the end, we kept the demos to use in the final mix.

Now I had the task of creating a string arrangement to gently hang around the guitar and vocal.

Here's what we ended up with. I hope you enjoy it. https://open.spotify.com/track/6m2If5j9U7b50CiNNXreFb?si=b551313fc4134af5
