Our 3rd and final session also went off without a hitch and everyone was again fantastic.
We have been treated to players on piano, woodwind, brass, vocals, a few guitars and some small school ensembles.
Thankyou everyone for entering and letting us enjoy your performances, also thanks to school music teachers, private music teachers and the families that support all our young musicians. Also thanks to the pianists who accompany the students who need piano backing. Our compere for the day Hannah took a break from uni to come and help and she did a great job announcing everyone. 👏🏻 It takes many hands both on and off stage to make a smooth show.
It’s amazing to see such a wide range of ages all enjoying music.

Reminder that this Sunday is the Esperance Music Festival mini concerts!
There will be 3 sessions throughout the day.
10 am, 1 pm and 3:30 pm at the SDA Hall.
Students have been working super hard preparing for this, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.

Just a reminder to all students/parents to make sure that all entries for the EMF Student Mini Concerts are ready to be given back to the music teacher or forwarded onto the Secretary in time for the 5th August cut off date.

The Student Mini Concerts - Sunday 23rd August 2026!
These concerts are free non-informal concerts for local music students.

- There will be 3 time options.
- To help keep the day running smoothly there will be time limits for performances.
- Open to local music students in the Esperance area.
- Forms available from local teachers.
- Entries due in by August 5th.
- For any queries contact [email protected] or your teacher.

We look forward to receiving those entries.

Unfortunately due to the cost of fuel prices ‘Brass on the Grass’ has been cancelled as the cost to get everyone and their stuff here was just to high.
