The Student Mini Concerts - Sunday 23rd August 2026!
These concerts are free non-informal concerts for local music students.

- There will be 3 time options.
- To help keep the day running smoothly there will be time limits for performances.
- Open to local music students in the Esperance area.
- Forms available from local teachers.
- Entries due in by August 5th.

We look forward to receiving those entries.

Unfortunately due to the cost of fuel prices ‘Brass on the Grass’ has been cancelled as the cost to get everyone and their stuff here was just to high.

If you find yourself with some free time on Sunday 5th April head down to the Brewery and support the Firebug Big Band. They will be visiting Esperance from Perth especially to entertain the Esperance community.
Under the guidance of Taj Johnstone the band will be cranking out some amazing jazz tunes with some added crowd favourite items.

🎶*LOCAL MUSIC SHOWCASE RECAP*🎵

Last night, music lovers and performers packed into the Civic Centre to experience the 1st Esperance Music Festival Showcase concert.
The night was a celebration of local talent, with local bands, ensembles, choirs and adult/advanced level soloists taking to the stage to show their hard work and dedication in front of an audience. It was clear that each performer was passionate about their craft, and the audience responded enthusiastically.
Can’t forget to thank all music teachers for their dedication in sharing their passions with students. Without them events like this can’t happen. Also to all the performers, well done on a great performance and to parents who support their children’s endeavours.
Overall, it was a fantastic night of music, and a great way to experience the best of local talent.

The Esperance Music Festival committee would like to thank everyone for supporting this new event.

🎵 Music Showcase this Saturday 🎵

Local audiences are in for a musical treat this Saturday night when the best of Esperance music talent is highlighted on the Civic Centre stage.
The Esperance Music Showcase Concert, held on Saturday, October 25, will feature a range of soloists, choirs, ensembles, concert, stage and brass bands.
Our special concert brings together 22 different soloists and groups, including the Esperance Brass Band, bands and ensembles from both Esperance Anglican Community School and Esperance Senior High School, the Esperance Community Singers and the newly-formed Community Guitar Ensemble.
The Concert starts at 7pm and is suitable for all ages. Tickets are available at the door ($15 adults, $5 pensioners/school-aged children, performers free). Cash and Card payments available.

The Knox family – Monique, Rebekah, Morgan and Leilani – combined their talents at the August EMF Concert. They will take to the Civic Centre stage again this Saturday as soloists in the Showcase Concert.

Just a little reminder that entries for the showcase are required to be in by Friday if you would like to be able to participate in the evening. This is a great opportunity for adults and advanced performers to share their talents with the wider community.
