BLACK ANZAC - the documentary

BLACK ANZAC - the documentary An Australian documentary about an up and coming street artist who creates a mural that tells the untold story of Indigenous service in Anzac history.

WARNING: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers are warned that the following contains images of deceased persons. The mural, inspired by a poem of the same name by Indigenous anzac Cecil Fisher, was installed to bring attention to the lack of recognition experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander war veterans in Australia. With insightful interviews featuring direct relatives of

the soldier depicted in the mural, local aboriginal elders and activists, Black ANZAC follows Hego on his quest to create the largest wheatpasted mural in Australia to date and its positive impacts on the wider community.
