Jenny Trinh is a Western Sydney electronic, experimental, and ambient musician who performs solo as Wytchings, and is also in two bands: Heart Armour & Worlds Only. Primarily working in sound and more recently delving into the realms of film and visual art, her work is diaristic, textured, and tender, often ruminating on love in all its fractal forms. Creating dreamy, immersive sounds, she has also collaborated with other artists across multiple forms such as dance, film, and radio to create accompanying soundscapes for their works, which have been showcased at Soft Centre, Sydney World Pride, Yirramboi Festival, Marrugeku, Sydney Opera House, Runway Journal, and Fairfield City Museum & Gallery.

Nicole Barakat is a Kfarsghabi, Lebanese artist living on the lands and waters of the Gadigal. She works with deep listening and intuitive processes with intentions to transform the conditions of everyday life. Her artwork engages unconventional approaches to art-making, creating intricate works that embody the love and patience characteristic of traditional textile practices. Nicole’s practice is rooted in re-membering and re-gathering her ancestral knowing, she works with coffee divination and plants and flower essences for community care.

Nicole is the 2025 recipient of the open award ($50,000) in the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award, Campbelltown Arts Centre. Nicole undertook an artist residency in Bethlehem, Palestine in 2010 and was in residence, through Creative Australia, at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France in 2023 where she convened with a 300-year-old Lebanese cedar tree in the Jardin des Plantes.

Rosie Belvie is a multi genre, multi-disciplinary singer, artist and performer and considers herself to be a current day embodiment of her community and culture.
Grown through traditional Maori performing arts, evolved through avant-garde theatre, transformed into a solo artist and singer Rosie brings protocol and provocation, prestige and poise, purpose and personality to every stage she performs on be it local, regional, national or international. Rosie shares with us the accumulation of her life experiences and expresses what it means for her to be a woman in today's world.

In the Works is back! Curated by PACT Associate Artists Victoria Hunt and Claudia Chidiac, this edition of In the Works brings together Nicole Barakat, Rosie Belvie, Adeeb Razzouk and Jenny Trinh for an evening of short works and collective gathering over some food.

Azimeh / عزيمه (ah-zee-meh) is an Arabic word for a gathering — an invitation to come together. Azimeh / عزيمه is a gathering in response to the f**kery of the world.

When things feel fractured, uncertain and increasingly difficult to make sense of, what does it mean to gather? To make art? To eat together? To sit with what’s happening around us, and with each other?

Every ticket includes a shared meal in PACT’s courtyard, where audiences and artists can come together to eat, unpack the work, and talk about what it means to make art in an increasingly uncertain world.

pach Blending expansive synths, explosive breakbeats, and guitar tones that breathe from ethereal whispers to a gleaming crunch, CTRL Pach redefines the bounds of live music with a raw but mesmerising force.

is a DJ and producer from Eora/Sydney. Drawn to deep trancey basslines, dubby, dark textures and rhythms that feel organic and playful, her sound is influenced by natural landscapes and otherworldly characteristics.

This work comes in two parts:

• The original work “Where do I put my love?” - an alternative rock and art pop, five track EP exploring the loss of love and the mundanity that pervades that.

• The revisited work “Wh3r€ d0 ! P*t (m)y L0\/e?” - a remix ep of all my music, leaning into electronic hardware based instrumentation. This ep marks the end of my time in this phase of life. I have grown bigger than it and this metamorphosis has opened me to things I never knew I would experience. Particularly musically, I have started making things much truer to myself and I wouldn’t have been able to do that if not for being thrown into the overgrown track.

So please enjoy this project as it unfolds across the next few months. I will be doing lots of carefully curated shows that you will find very fun and will do lots of dancing to !

We're thrilled to announce that EOIs are open for our 2026 PACT LAB: Process, Play, Experiment!

Taking place over two weeks from 8-21 November, PPE is a unique opportunity for artists in the first 10 years of their careers to spend two weeks developing their practice and creating new work in a collaborative environment. As well as residency space and support from PACT, the lab will include masterclasses with members of PACT's Associate Artists and guests, and will conclude with a public "In the Works" showcase.

This two-week intensive is a great opportunity to experiment, make new connections and develop your craft!

EOIs are open from the 21st of July, until 9AM AEST on the 17th of August.
Applicants will be informed of thei outcome in the week of 14 September.
