by A.R. Gurney
Directed by Tracey Okeby Lucan
Tuesday 5th & Thursday 7th May
7.30pm – 10.00pm

The Dining Room is about a place that is disappearing. Across the play 6 actors will portray 50+ characters through 18 interwoven scenes based around one dining room table. Each scene brings to life a memory from around the table; dinner, parties, breakfast, repairs and breakdowns. The roles require actors with the flexibility to flow through multiple characters and scenes with clear physicality and presence. It’s going to be fun!
Each actor covers multiple ages so there is no age range for each role. The play is American but an accent is not required for the audition.
