Three years in the making.

Faking Clever celebrate the release of their debut double A-side single, Mochrie of Me and Cresswell, with a free launch show at The Troc.

Recorded with Nic Dalton in Maitland and released through Half A Cow Records, the two tracks have become live favourites over the years — now finally making their way onto record.

Joining them for the occasion are Whopping Big Naughty and Phase II for a stacked night of local music.

“Best live drumming he’d ever seen.”

Yup. That’s our River ⚡️

A touring band from Colorado walked into The Troc expecting a quiet beer and instead found a room full of freestyles, open mic chaos and some seriously ridiculous musicianship.

Next minute they’re up on stage jamming with the Innerwest Hop crew and walking away calling it one of their favourite nights in Sydney.

And honestly… that’s what Innerwest Hop is all about.

Live hip hop, soul and jazz. Rotating guest hosts. Musicians jumping up on stage. People stepping up to the mic for the first time. A room full of talent seeing where the night takes them.

Huge flowers to our house band and rotating crew including on drums, on keys and on bass for putting on one hell of a night every single week.

Big love to for dropping in, getting amongst it and shouting out the scene in .

TONIGHT at The Trocadero Room. ⚡️

A huge night for the Newtown Enmore Gig Trail as Maddy Jane and Lady Lyon take over The Troc for Great Southern Nights.

Maddy Jane brings songs that feel both delicate and unravelling at once — emotionally charged storytelling, ragged edges, quiet moments that suddenly burst wide open. The kind of set made for a dark room, a crowded floor and getting a little too caught up in the music.


Lady Lyon writes their songs like they make love. Pure, threatening, and sumptuous nostalgia for the heart that will linger in you long after your feet stop the inevitable two-step.


Get amongst it. It’s shaping up to be a massive night right across the strip, with venues up and down Newtown and Enmore packed with live music, good chaos and people bouncing between rooms all night long.

Espolòn Tequila presents: Cocktail Fights at The Troc. 🥊

Cocktail Fights is not a cocktail competition.

There’s no prep. No storytelling. No polished bartender monologues.

Simply show up, be chaotic, win challenges, and earn yourself a TRIP TO MEXICO to defend Australia’s title at the Global Finals. 🌵✈️

The session will dive into agave, the Espolòn brand, flavour mapping, practical bar skills and a few other nerdy bits along the way — with food and drinks provided for everyone attending.

Plus, one person from the Training Camp at The Trocadero Room will score a WILDCARD entry straight into the NSW Regional Finals. Trust us — that’s a huge advantage.
