Wonderful World Media Network

At Wonderful World Media Network we have long known the secret ‘as I think, so I create’ …and we think to ourselves, What a Wonderful World!

Wonderful World Media Network (WWMN) was founded by Viarnne Mischon in February 2007 with the aim of providing informative, solution based media designed to inspire hope and motivation for creating a sustainable and equitable future - through the medium of quality edutainment. The radio shows produced by WWMN are broadcast live from the studios of 3WBC 94.1fm, Melbourne and have listeners all over the world. WWMN’s multi-award winning independent production team is at the leading edge of solution based reporting and positive, proactive media. The network is committed to producing innovative programs designed to provide informative and uplifting media that makes a genuine difference. By 2012 WWMN was producing 33 hours of specialist content per month, with over 90% of the 1700+ hours per year of programming being focused on promoting the principles and practices of healthy, sustainable and equitable living to our local and global community; at the time this amount of weekly specialty programming in this genre was unparalleled by any other media in Australia.

Over the last decade WWMN (and our sister network The School Broadcasting Network) has produced a total of 15 different radio shows - many being spin-offs from the first and longest running show of all - What a Wonderful World. By researching and reporting on sustainable innovations and options that have already been implemented and achieved in other communities around the world, WWMN’s aim is to inspire and motivate both our local audience and our global world community to embrace a healthy, sustainable and socially equitable lifestyle as rapidly as possible.
