Hello, my art is creative and original. I use acrylic paint, reuse old cups and other tiles to make mosaics and carve into limestone to make my statues.

I have been creating artworks for most of my life. I ventured into tapestry weaving, pottery, painting, mosaics and now, limestone sculpture. I love the texture of limestone, often containing fossils and quartz crystals.

This is my latest sculpture. "Back to Earth' This statue is a change from my normal style of smooth, carved forms. It is designed to revert back to nature, going mossy, slowly ageing into a grey, mottled art form. Plants are growing in the rough cliff face with sides of carved leaf forms, copying nature, demonstrating humanity’s desire for beauty and art. There is stress between art and nature. Now, this is just a remnant of art. Nature wins and all reverts back to where it began.
It was shown in the GasWorks Back to Nature Exhibition early November.

During July I shared a space in Eltham displaying my art, including paintings, sculpture, mosaics and a weaving. I sold two lovely sea pictures based on a holiday in Anglesea.
Feeling good
